    RE: Hailey Glassman's clip: I've never heard someone refer to another individual as "this woman" without saying something offensive afterward. It's like starting an online comment with "Um." It always presages some kind of contemptuous remark. The "No offense, Kate," was gravy. #chazbonoentertainmenttonight

    @Spike49: She never actually says she's a vampire, at least not in the above clip. She says she's "Fangtasia" (?) and hangs out in the bar on True Blood. Furthermore, she did an interview with someone who didn't like her, and then that person bit her, and now she's goth. I know, it makes no sense. (I'm still trying to figure out who Whoopi's dressed as. My best guess is Founding Father Vampire.)

    One of my best friends is 90. I met her in an art class, and last year she invited six members of the class to spend a week with her in Mexico. We all had our plane tickets bought within 24 hours, 8 months ahead of time, and when the day came, nobody's plans had had to change. The seven of us had the most amazing time. She's so full of joy and love and fun, and makes a terrific instigator for amazing adventures. I'll have to ask her if she's game for an all-male revue for the big 100. #chazbonoentertainmenttonight

    Awwwww my great-grandma lived to be 100 but she definitely wasn't that cool. Her last 8 years or so she would only eat fiddle-faddle, diet pepsi, two parts of neopolatin ice cream (god forbid we buy her plain strawberry or plain chocolate) and correctol. She also wouldn't let my 12 year old self run around in the sprinklers even when it was 100 degrees, because she thought I'd get a head cold. I still miss her to pieces though.

    @KittyKittyCat: Yes it is awesome that Juanita's granddaughter loves having her around, especially since Juanita had to live through the deaths of ALL of her children, which must be one of life's worst experiences. They seem to be having loads of fun together.

    @Cunning_Linguist: This is the problem with this weird excuse for an ad: you go to a fish market, not the frozen food section, to find fresh mussels. And you consult a cookbook when you want to prepare a "special" meal. And use a curling iron, maybe, rather than velcro rollers as that hair looks like a rat's nest. #chazbonoentertainmenttonight

    @Cunning_Linguist: Nothing wrong with a bit of frozen fish, it's better than buying days-old fish from a bad seafood counter, but it's hard to judge the quality that way. Definitely seek out the seafood counter in a large busy grocery store, or better yet, a farmer's market if your town/city has one. #chazbonoentertainmenttonight

    Awww, Juanita reminds me of my great-grandma. She was a flapper and a suffragette, and she partied with Bonnie and Clyde. She would smoke and down whiskey and traveled all over the world, including the Middle East. And she was a teacher too. Oh, and she thought Edward Scissorhands was based on a true story and didn't realise my cousin Caleb wasn't called "Cable" until he was five. She was such a sweet, awesome little old lady. #chazbonoentertainmenttonight
