    I have to say, that although this ad is ridiculous and ineffective, I don't think they are saying that vaginas are dirty. I think they are trying to get women to maybe think "it could happen to me".

    And, it promotes HIV awareness, which is something I can never fully disagree with.

    I don't know. I just took this to mean that women are susceptible to HIV/AIDS as well as men. I know many women who after having unprotected sex will go get checked for STDs and pregnancy but for them STD at it's worst means HPV. There is def still a stigma that HIV/AIDS is a gay man's disease.

    It is a truth universally acknowledged that a woman's vagina is a dangerous place -- for the men who wish to visit (blood! OMG, it BLEEEEEEDS!) as well as for the women who carry theirs within their fragile parts. It will either make you sick, or be the cause of your rape, depending on whether or not you have one.

    Maybe this ad is just meant to give the ladyparts a shout out. The HIV doesn't have to mean "Human Immunodeficiency Virus;" it could mean "Hi, Vagina."
