    @Janie Jones: This is the one I know of: Helen Levitt. San Francisco: San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, 1991 (it's an exhibition catalogue from the SF Moma; the title of the book is her name).


    I know she published others, but this is the one that "introduced" Levitt to me; I recommend it!

    We've lost a lot of awesome people already in 2009: Lux Interior, Ron Asheton, Frances Blaisdell, etc... And now Helen Levitt. Your art lives on! RIP!

    It's amazing that a woman who felt so "wobbly," as she described it, her whole life could capture and quiet the movement in her photographs so masterfully.
