    I used to be a little scene kid in Boston back in the early aughts (moved away in late 2003), and these people were ridiculous to me even then when I ascribed to the fashion.


    Now that I am very much removed from the scene, I didn't realize these people had any sort of internet following (I wasn't aware of Myspace or livejournal back when I was a little scenester- I could really only use the internet for downloading music and school) and it scares me very much.

    I don't like that this chick has the same name as me! Hannah Beth...sigh. Also, they have something similar to scene queens here in BA. They're called floggers (short for foto loggers) and essentially prance around in brightly colored 80s attire, have trendy, fringed mullets, huge sunglasses and take lots of pictures of themselves and post them on their fotologs. Whoever has the most comments and visitors wins.

    @sammyboombaladdy: She'll likely get freebies out her ass from the same companies that treat Paris at red carpet events, or sponsorship deals etc.


    Plus, this could easily be an avenue into some sort of dumbass entertainment show that'd actually pay her or somesuch.

    @Archetype: Ack. I just worked on a test shoot where we used computer cords in the models hair, among other things. It represented absolutely nothing, aside from looking mildly interesting.

    Would Tila Tequila be a scene queen? Is she like the queen of scene queens?


    This show made me really like Paris and really not like her BFFs. Anybody who enjoys fucking with people as much as Paris obviously does is okay in my book, but anybody who enjoys being fucked with as much as those kids were is just sad.


    Brittany was the best choice though, so snaps for Brittany!
