    (I'm too dispiritedly conflicted about validating rights of the small business designer/IP owners but mourning an as-a-result-lacerated budget to comment on much else in the article here.)

    Working for free? Until LiLo also has to take a forced furlough, pick up the workloads of all the other "artistic directors" who got canned in the first round of layoffs, and forego medical benefits and matching 401K contributions while being told daily she's just lucky she has a job, she'd better not come crying to me.

    OMG. This is JUST like the time I tried to meet author/horror incest porn virtuoso VC Andrews. Her people tried to play it off, like she was "too busy" to meet me or whatever, but I uncovered the truth! It turns out she really was too busy. Too being dead, that is, and all those books were being written by a mysterious committee formed to keep those checks & tween girl allowance money rolling in.

    @Your Screenplay Sucks: I think she actually died after like the second or third book in the Flowers/Attic series. Which kind of makes sense, since every book after the Flowers/Heaven series reads like the same storyline with a few little tweaks here and there. I stopped buying the books after the "dawn" series cos it was too obvious they were being churned out like cans of beans at a factory.

    ...and cos I grew up and realized there were better books out there with porn in 'em. where not everyone ended up doing it with their brother/stepbrother/half brother/cousin who is really your brother/brother who is really your cousin

    Gosh! Margiela was one of my first fashion crushes and I'm actually wearing a top from his 6 line right now! It's a stretchy, strappy thing in dark red bought in 2003, cost about £15 on sale and has easily outlasted every similar piece of crap from the high street.


    I loved the intelligence but lack of neuroses about his clothes. Recently, yeah, it's obvious his name is on (them) but he's not home.

    My friend's boss is a close friend of Margiela's and he says that is not a picture of him, but just a random person which they gave out when he was hired at Hermes to throw people off the scent so to speak.


    The mystery only deepens....
