    Twitter is just a tool. Like a butcher knife or a harpoon, or an alligator.


    I find it very useful for news.


    Anyway - O'reilly knows dick about the Internet, the Constitution, the economy, or anything else, so why listen to him?

    Twitter and EH is a perfect match. I swear that website is made for people w/ such a high self esteem that they think when people are staring at them, it must be because they look good when in fact people are just looking in their general direction and don't even notice them.

    Twitter =/= free market, Hasselbeck.


    For example, there is a marked difference between a talk radio host speaking to a trend/ feeling/ event, and expounding upon it, as opposed to Twittering into blind space. Let's look at some examples, shall we?


    Talk Radio: "I feel that recent statistics have reinforced my belief that television lacks XYZ"

    Twitter: "OMG u guys, i can't wait 4 Gossip Girl"


    Talk Radio: " The conduct of Dennis Rodman is once again called into question because of XYZ; what is UP with this guy? Seriously?"

    Twitter: " Dennis Rodman should take a long look in the mirror"

    O'Reilly is wrong. Way back in 1979 Buggles had already proclaimed that "Video killed the radio star" not Twitter.

    I contributed to the mental advancement of Londoners by expounding authoratively on the subject of cloudberries a few weeks back. That I got my facts wrong is neither here nor there. I sounded as if I knew my onions of rather cloudeberries and that is all that matters on talk radio.

    I actually listen to a lot of talk radio...definitely not Bill though. I mostly can't stand the overwhelming majority of radio stations, and I get tired of Pandora, and Neil Boortz, who is Libertarian and went to my alma mater, is refreshingly honest and funny.
