    I need to stop dancing on an empty stomach. It makes my brain fuzzy. This is the second time I have left behind my stuff at the dance studio, except this time it was my bag with my veils, hip scarves, and zills. That will be such a pain if I have to replace it. Sigh.

    I just finished writing my final paper for a class, and suddenly I hate it. I'm not sure I hate it enough to really do anything about it, though. I'm a non-degree student at moment, and all I need to make in the class is a C. One mediocre paper isn't going to wreck my A- average to the point of not making a C, right??

    I still have take-home exams to do, but I have made progress. I am not putting as much effort into these as I did for midterms, and I think it's going to show. I can't work up the energy to care, though, as I am about to be done with a class I didn't like and go home for Christmas vacation.

    @spamanda: I chose to watch the Real World/Road Rules challenge last week, and I'm glad I missed Jen getting cut. I think I will be watching the RW/RR finale instead this week because that Michael just pisses me off too much. I think his brother is pretty great. Also I apparently didn't see Michael Chiarello as the judge, and I'm always in favor of that. He is an ASS!

    All,

    I think my contracts exam this morning broke my brain. I have a civ pro exam on Friday, I haven't even started reviewing for it. I can't bring myself to even get out the books. I think my brain is fried....

    Anyone else suffering from absolute exhaustion?

    @curiousgeorgiana: I'm halfway through one 25 page paper, and I have another due on Monday that I haven't really started. And I have a final on Monday that I really, really haven't studied for. So I'm avoiding work to avoid thinking about everything, which is not the best tactic.

    @curiousgeorgiana: Yup! I'm trying to review for my exams and nothing is sinking in. I'm just too tired. I can barely even muster the energy to try.
    But congrats on getting your contracts exam done! You should take a quick nap to rejuvenate yourself a little. If you're not going to be studying in that time anyway, you might as well sleep, no?

    @curiousgeorgiana: I'm totally work exhausted but thats in part due to my insomnia cycle yet again. It makes me terribly productive though. I had a million and one ideas for the library, decorated the entire library, went to walmart and bought 10 poinsettias and 12 board games and organized my library binder. Phew. Good luck with the exams!

    @curiousgeorgiana: I had one of the most ridiculous (not necessarily hard, just out-of-this world ridiculous) finals of my life this morning. I think I did alright, but at the same time I have no idea. I'm about 3 pages (out of 20) from freedom on my research paper, but I just...can't. I know it won't take me too long, but I just can't find any motivation. I've hit a brick wall.

    I just found out that I get to go see the alma mater play tonight for free. It's against some U that I've never heard of, but I'm stilled pretty excited. It's impossible to get tickets normally, but I think it's finals week and they've released some student section tickets. GO ZAGS!

    @token_illiterate_commenter: It's true - I think that happened my senior year. That was quite the surprise. They're both ranked this year - it's nice for UP to finally have a real rivalry! Also, my BFF who is a GU grad got tickets to the GU/UP game and isn't taking me. I'm pretty jealous.

    I just went on wikipedia to look up some minor plot point in Pride & Prejudice and when I searched for "Pride & Prejudice" I was automatically redirected to the article on the Kiera Knightly movie, not the book. This made me very sad.

    @k_far: I actually kind of love those new covers, but haven't bought any b/c I already have all of those books in the old Penguin Classics. I like the P&P one. The illustrator's name is Ruben Toledo, and he's done some really cool fashion illustrations. I just really like his style.

    @Triphena: I HATE that. I was in debate in high school, and spent an entire debate confused out of my mind because I could not understand the example my opponent kept bringing up. Turned out after the match, I asked to see her case. My opponent's example was Mussolini's fascism. She had been pronouncing it "mah-zuh-leening fax-eye-zum." I kid you not.
