    Morning, lovies! I'm super excited-we're due to get some gnarly snow tomorrow and sunday!! I plan on going to Trader Joes later and stocking up on tasty snax. Mmmm....snowed in....Oh but guess what. Mr. Foibles and I attended a get-together last night with all the mechanics we used to work with and our old boss. It was so nice to get out for a bit and it was lovely to see all the guys. I had a truly delicious roast-beef sanwidge and played pool. I also had three beers. And, well. *pauses, picks invisible lint from coat* I have a hangover today. I woke up with a tiny headache, which was fine, but after I showered and was dressing I started getting waves of nausea. They got worse, and I felt shaky and gross. When I took the dog out and had a smoke, the cold air felt really nice, but then when we came in I thought, Oh my God should I go vomit and get it over with?? I didn't, though. I went and got coffee and a bagel and consumed both along with some Coke. I'm gradually feeling less gross but WTF? Three beers?? Who gets a hangover from three stupid beers? Ugh. Anyway, cheers, and now I've got to get some work done.

    Legal advice! I run a weekly trivia game. Last night I had a "Douches of the Decade" category (yes, inspired by the Gawker post). It included Tucker Max as an answer. I did not directly call him a douche, I merely asked about him within the category. His lawyer happened to be in attendance. I'm not in jeopardy of any sort of slander lawsuit, am I?

    I just found out that the liquor store down the street from my dorm in addition to selling Mexican coca -cola sells The Kraken Rum, which is pretty good and effective.
    hence I'm drunk and thinking that I really need to either set my personality to either emo depressed or cocky asshole .
    also I might have kinda bugged a girl I liked
    Hence the drinking of rum in an awesome bottle

    My coat is apparently not Northeast-winter-friendly, and I think it's time to get something huge and puffy and warm. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm too cold to care what it looks like.

    @NellMood: When I moved to a place that has a real winter, my mom got me a Lands End down-filled puffy jacket for my b-day. I'm not normally a fan of Lands End stuff, but the jacket is really warm without being too puffy. It's also a bit fitted (so that it doesn't look totally shapeless), but leaves enough room to accommodate bulky sweaters or layers.
