    I need to give some serious props to Sadie for the Wine Cake recipe. I made it this morning with some modifications, but I left a little bit out of the bundt pan to make in a small ramekin (gotta taste test, yo!)

    So... if any of my fellow celiac/gluten intolerant sisteres and brothers are reading:

    Make the Wine Cake recipe using Kinnikinnick white cake mix and GF vanilla pudding mix. I didn't have sherry, so I made the booze glaze with Frangelico. Add an extra 5 minutes or so on the baking (but that might just be my oven).

    Today means leftovers! Me and the GF had TG yesterday because she's a RN doing the midnight shift today. We went to the late showing of New Moon and laughed with the rest of the adults. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

    @bluebears: I really want to develop a love of running. I dont hate it I just get tired after .5 seconds, winded, cramps in my side. Plus I get itchy itchy itchy legs whenever I spend any time outside. :(

    @duetoprivacy: you're probably starting too fast. you should be jogging at a "fast walk" pace to begin with (unless you're already in shape from other sports that incorporate running type cardio)

    Not Thanksgiving related really but did anyone watch the show Queer as Folk. I just ordered the first part of the 1st season to re-watch on the way to the family dinner.

    I loved the show and watched it when it was first on and saw picture of Gale Harold and fell in love again.

    Did I think of this when writing it? No, I only thought 'Bloody thing. How soon can I realistically stop writing and not get a horrible mark?'

    @curiousgeorgiana: I swear bread can smell fear. Baking requires a dominant stance. If it knows you're nervous you've already lost.

    I just took it out of the oven though and it looks and smells unbelievable. Guess I'll have to slice a little bit off the edge to taste--damn circular loaf!

    @Meglantine: It's come out well so far, though there's now another batch in the oven! It's my only contribution to this dinner so I want to make it good. Downside: I am covered in chilli seeds. Everything tastes of it!
