That's poignant. *sniff* Maybe I'll call my mom. I'd love to be buried with my mom--who I love more than all the raindrops in the sky and all the fish in the sea!!!
In re: tackiness, I think that horrendous Bobby Trendy bed from the first season runs circles around this for days.
And maybe it's just because I'm due for my period, but I got really misty-eyed when I saw that. I think it's probably the closest to what Anna would have chosen for herself, bless her loopy little soul.
Quick question - the article says the memorial weighed 2 and a half tons? Is that the entire memorial? If so, what's it made of, and most importantly, HOW BIG IS IT?
Because while this doesn't look tacky at all, in my opinion, finding out its like 8ft by 5 ft may change my opinion. (Looking at the grass, i don't think that's possible, but how could something that size weigh 2.5 TONS?)
You got me all excited that it would say something like "Kimmi, I'm Hooorrrny!" or something. This is just sweet and remarkably tasteful, given the subject matter.
Hmmm, I always rate pretty high on the tacky scale with my personal tastes, which may be the reason I don't think this is that bad.
'Tacky in life, tacky in death' I always say. Well, I don't always say this. As a matter of fact, this is the first time; but I think I'll make it a mantra, now.
My epitaph may be an homage to my love for all things candy corn and Golden Girls-related. Plus a picture of my afro pic, which has been a constant companion. I do love it more than all the fishies in the sea.
Plus I'll add these quotables that have carried me through life:
1. Go to bed with an itchy butt, wake up with sticky fingers.
2. Never turn your back on a unicorn.
3. There's no void that icecream, something fried, or vodka cannot fill.
4. Trust no one but your mama. But when you're playing a card game with her and she's the dealer, you still cut the deck.
5. When you achieve anything in your life, repeat to yourself "I got lucky. I got lucky" over and over again. This way, you will develop a nice, warm lucky feeling.
@rubyinthedust: that was from the same episode that the headstone quotes are from! when she's wearing the blue dress and her butt gets caught in between the legs of the table when she's crawling around on the floor.

I think it's beautiful. It gave me cold chills.
It's so strange the way they both died. :(

Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna Nicole
You're so outrageous...
stuck in my head.
Other than that, I'm with Hortense. I'm sure she would have thought that this was a fitting tribute.
