    Oh god the Gerard thing confused me so much - I thought he was already with Jessica Simpson before I realized it was Jennifer Aniston.

    It's like watching a soap where two of the characters have the exact same story line. The tabs should just combine them for expediency's sake.

    @ElleL: It's too bad, bacause while not a fan, to me she's always seemed like a decent person with a good heart who's had quite a bit of bad luck in the love dept. & now with losing her dog (I would be devastated).
    Also, reading my people style watch the other day & reviewing the Breast Cancer products section (after the pinkwashing article here I was curious to see who was/wasn't legit on the cause). Her pink shoes were one of only 2 items that 100% of the proceeds went to BC charity. What's crazy is that other products were major corporations such as Ralph Lauren & Estee Lauder, were only donating a portion or had caps on their donations.
    Things like that and operation smile - well, I just can't help but like her... #jessicasimpson

    @mikaelamac: I have always had a soft spot for her, too. She seems genuine, if not misguided in her actions/messages. But she gravitates towards these guys that are AWFUL for her. John Mayer was embarassed to be seen with her (and God only knows about the golden shower rumors), Tony Romo rode her fame coat tails and like on the field, blew it. And now Gerard Butler? Can our girl recover from this? #jessicasimpson

Is she going to have an airplane painted with "GERARD & JESSICA 4 EVAR!" and grandly reveal it on the day that Gerard finds out that he's the potential father of three babies that may be his or may be Colin Farrell's?     NeNe has changed, and not for the better. I was a major fan of her first season, but she has let her fame go to her head, and she has lost focus on what made her initially appealing for the first season with her fans. Maybe she is taking notes from Dwight(he is a terrible person), but nasty, and mean are never attractive, or endearing qualities....leave that to Perez and TMZ!! #jessicasimpson

    Every time someone tries to explain to me why Guantanamo a) exists and b) should continue to exist, I can't help but make a mental leap to concentration camps.

    I applaud The Roots et al... anything that will get America off of soil that doesn't belong to it and abandoning the immoral torture of human beings, I support.

    Can you imagine what those artists must feel like? To know that something you created is being used to attempt to "break" a fellow human being? I find that horrifying. #jessicasimpson

    What a BULLSHIT statement by Roger Friedman about Madonna.

    Maybe Madonna cannot be likened to Lennon and McCartney because there were two of the latter?

    Madonna has written most if not all of her songs with a songwriting partner.

    Moreover there is a long history of women songwriters not being given due credit like their male counterparts.

    If Madonna were a man, Friedman would not be saying this at all. #jessicasimpson

    @yearofthewoman: I don't know if it has anything to do with her being a man. Most of her most famous songs - Holiday, Borderline, Like a Virgin, Material Girl - ie, the songs they would be using on Glee - were not written by her. In fact, a friend of mine in the music industry once told me that part of the reason Madonna still has to tour so long into her career is that she didn't make much money from her big 80s hits, since she didn't write them. I mean, who knows if that's true, but the stuff about Madonna writing her own songs has been a music industry thing for a long time it seems. #jessicasimpson

    @Sputnik_Sweetheart: A lot of men frame their childhood sexual abuse as experimentation if it isn't violent. (And I presume some women do, too, though you don't really hear that casual, "oh, yeah, older people had sex with me but it was no biggie" from women.)

    It sounds like he meant "starting at 3 or 4 and continuing on until 14..." and he refers to older boys. So it seems to me that he was molested but doesn't think of it that way. #jessicasimpson
