Hey, let's not knock the prom purse. Until every formal dress comes with deep, sturdy pockets, the cheap among us will grab the first thing that qualifies as a "formal clutch" that she sees. Because she hates purses. And her feckin' dress doesn't have pockets. But she's not bitter.
Holy shit is Alyssa Milano gorgeous. When I was a little kid I always wanted to look like that, in a dress that red. Like the Wayne's girlfriend at the end of Wayne's World, that color red dress. But if you're blonde and pasty that color just doesn't look as pop-y. So sad for my life. Good thing nobody invites me to benefits. Or movie premieres.
I believe Barbie's casual Friday outfit is a mini-skirted version of that, actually.
When you said "ankle bracelet" I thought you meant the police tracking kind, then I scrolled down. It would have been hard to match a necklace to the state-issued sort.
@Le Kangourou de Kataroo: I know! Is there a seamstress shortage in this country? I'm tired of seeing pants dragging on the ground. If you're tripping over it, it's too long!
@cate3710: Ellen just ... wears her pants like that.
They may be too long, but personally I don't have a problem with it. She's Ellen. She can get away with it.
@JerkoftheMonth: awww. I figured but I always kept a little part of my brain shielded from the rumors so it could cultivate Bend it Like Beckham-era Myers love unabated. How was he douchey, if you don't mind sharing a few details?
@Maggita: He gave a lecture/interview, and he was just so smugly patronising and self-absorbed about everything. I rolled my eyes so much that I got dizzy. He also shook my hand and was really smarmy and leaned in really close to introduce himself, it was just - yuck.
Kate Moss looks even more stunning and gorgeous with a big ol' smile. Leave the pout at home, girl.
Ben Grimes double-purse: I can see how this would come in handy. Maybe one purse is for a camera, and the other purse is for gum, lipstick and tissues.
I love Claudia Schiffer's dress and would definitely wear it. Perfect party frock, methinks.
@Mary McCarthyite: I think Claudia Schiffer has the most wearable dress. Posh rocks the hardest. Kate looked awful - Not her smile, but her makeup and clothing.
@fluxus flucker: Kate's eye makeup was the kind that I think would work great for a photo shoot, but not so much in real life, where you actually smile and make facial expressions.
Aaaaannnd... Love in a Cold Climate added to my Netflix. I'm having a "between the wars" moment.
Rosamund Pike is a huge girlcrush for me. God she is stunning, even with that fluffy hair.

Actually, I would wear a few of these dresses: Cindy Crawford's, AM's, Emma Hennings's, Selena Gomez's...man, this is a record for GBU.
Does Suzanne Somers wear a wig?
