Man. If she thought she had to go there to get him back, did she ask herself first if she really wanted him back?
(I'm going to leave the parsing of the actual act to other Jezzies, as you all are quite capable and I can't wait to hear what you have to say about it.)
Well atleast her imaginary baby wasn't in the back seat after she got car jacked by a Black guy. But that's about all I'm giving her. This is Outcry but srsly?
Stuff like this always gets me into an argument with myself. Part of me feels bad that this woman felt this was the right thing to do. Then the other part of me wants to scream, "DO YOUR REALIZE YOU TOOK TIME AND RESOURCES AWAY FROM REAL CRIMES!!!!"
@irregardless38: i think it's reasonable to be sympathetic about her obvious mental illness yet angry at the effects of her actions, even if the result of same.
@Tart of Darkness: i think b-girl was expected to heal with no scarring. if there is scarring i'm sure there are ways to lessen or remove it entirely. she'll certainly need psychiatric care.
and my confusion is that i can be both stabby and "huggy" on the same day. a couple of days ago i was sniping at some commenters and virtually hugging others seemingly at random. bad day.
@electriklights: Theres a pretty good chance that she is suffering an emotional handicap and doesn't understand the full extent and effect of her actions. You can't really punish a crazy person for going crazy, it won't do much good for anybody.
Her description of the "baby" makes me wonder if she's ever seen a baby IRL. "Ah yes, my baby had a luxurious beard, a glass eye, and a taste for single-malt scotch, just a typical baby, you know?"
@sylie: I love the addition of the temporary tattoo because it makes me think she wanted to say it had a real tattoo and then checked herself. "Oh no, that's too over-the-top."
All this makes me think about is how reality TV has made it seem that the best/only way to get a lot of attention is to get on TV. If someone believes that, they'll come up with a mohawked kid who has mysteriously disappeared to get that attention.
she described the child "as having a mohawk, a single tooth and a fake tattoo," and "that she had left him with a nanny who had a French accent and a gap between her teeth."
This woman clearly has an active imagination. After she gets psychatric care, perhaps she could get a job writing fo a Woman's Magazine.

What a description. It kind of made me LOL when I pictured the tattooed and mohawked baby with a Vannessa Paradis kind of nanny.
But yes homegirl needs help. Hope she gets it.
