    Am I the only one who cried? The mother's desperate cry as she tries to get it to breathe. And then her attempts to wrap the lifeless trunk of the baby around her own so she could lift it? Gawd, I wanted to give her thumbs.

    @curiousgeorgiana: Oh god no. I was starting to get teary when it was clear the baby wasn't breathing, but I freaking LOST IT when she cried out and really began to get frantic.

    Then it was okay, and there was lots of squeeing watching the awkward baby elephant flail around and try to walk.

    @andBegorrah: Sob... Watching this growing up was tough. I was adopted, so I always pictured my birth mom in this scene.

    Then again, the Pink Elephants on Parade scene (drunken hallucinations)scared the shit out of me and stil does.

    Finally, years later I learned that the crows were racist charicatures, so there goes my favorte song, When I See and Elephant Fly.

    So yeah.. Now I can never ever enjoy Dumbo.
