    Also, I WANT those PLATES. It's so stupid to spend that kind of money on seasonal plates, and yet before I got that rational thought out, I was already calculating what else I'd have to give up in order to get them.

    @TheFormerJuneBronson: I started getting Spode Christmas tree when I was in my early 20s. I've never regretted having them even though we don't always use them. My every day dishes are cheapies.

    @brendastarlet is on it: And lobster ravioli and lobster toast and lobster rolls and lobster cake and lobster lobster. I like the word "lobster". And mac&cheese would be good with sawdust on it. But with lobster? LOBSTER?!?! I'm dying ova here.

    FOOOOOOD PORRRRNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh the log, the log!! I caught myself reaching for my wallet to see if I could afford one. There's a WS about 10min from me. Oh, but for all us cheepskates, (yes, cheep) they do have a lovely tin of chocolate shavings you can make BANGIN' hot chocolate with. My bf asks for it nightly as soon as september hits. The can is I think $20.00 but soo worth.

    I love to look at these things in the catalogue, but with the exception of the cake molds, which I find useful for my non-artistic self, I would lose all respect for someone who actually got food this way. Obviously they have money to burn, and are fakey fakersons at cooking. That is a nauseating combination right there.

    @KathrynwithaY loves Joan Collins: mais, non, buche de noel is yummy! I took a BdeN class last year. It's basically a chocolate cake roll covered in frosting with mushrooms made of meringue for decoration. And a French tradition. Look here:
