    Oh boy, the "Guard Dogs," they are so neat. However, I've looked at their Web site before and a better translation for their group name is the Watch-Bitches (as in a female dog, but also a woman). It's definitely more sassy that way.

    How long before the asshats try to use this data to outlaw termination of pregnancy in the case of rape? Many of them already believe that you "can't" get pregnant if it's "really" rape. So this just seems like a big ol' "Her mouth said 'no' but her uterus said 'yes.'"


    And, of course, on the flip side, women with unexplained infertility will be told they are "secretly conflicted about motherhood." Welcome back, Freud.

    There are charity events around here to raise money for Violence Against Women, called Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. It's where guys put on high heels and walk a mile in them. It's good for a laugh especially :D

    @seasonfortreason: I'm conflicted about this. At least now I'll have a better chance at finding a mate (i'm Latino) because all the Latino guys that I know are always running after white girls. What does that leave me with? So, I don't know. I wouldn't say I'm happy about it but I'm not sad either.

    @afiunderground: Yea, look at it another way...maybe it just means that white women are becoming less willing to marry the Latinos/Asians, but the desire on the part of Latinos/Asians hasn't actually changed? Who knows. It's impossible to conclude from the numbers.

    Reading that story about the relationship between the gym teacher and student made me feel physically ill, and that never happens.


    How trapped he must have felt-I don't believe there is a high school boy out there who feels he could reject the advances of a popular and attractive teacher and not be made into a social pariah. The authorities should have thrown the book at her.

    @TheExperience: Really? I've felt that way in the past about female teacher/male student relationships, but not so much this one. Screaming "Whore" at her in school and stalking her after the criminal case make me wonder how he would have behaved had a teenage girls dumped him. What she did was wrong, but he has his own issues and I don't think she caused most of them.

    @clevernamehere: I don't think she caused his issues, but surely at 26 you know how vulnerable a 15 year old boy is, particularly one whose parents are going through a nasty divorce and who has a disabled father he has to bathe and take to the toilet. He considered her his soulmate while she was pursuing not just one of the other coaches but they kid's wrestling team mates as well. I got the distinct impression she preyed on him - the boy was unstable, and she knew that, but continued to string him along, not caring about how this was affecting him.


    It frightens me that she could still be out there doing this to other young boys. She obviously needed psychological help - something was wrong with her to pursue multiples young men.


    This reminds me of the South Park episode where the police keep saying, "Niiiiicccce..." when people complain about an underage boy having sex with an attractive teacher. Just because it's a woman doesn't make the predator any less dangerous.
