I gotta show my geekitude here; Scrubs is set in or around the Sacramento area because when Turk's phone number had his name in it (xxx-TURK), he had a 916 area code. I was like, "Homeboy's from Sac-town! Just like Annaleigh and A.J. from 'Top Model' (cycles 11 and 7, respectively)." Only in a sitcom way.

Chicago really got shafted. Life can be fun and sexy when most of the year you have to wrap your face up in your scarf. Life can be fun and sexy when all of your boots are covered in salt stains! There is fun and sexiness to be had in the beauty of rain that comes from every direction, an obnoxiously corrupt city government, sports teams that never seem to be able to pull it off, and extreme segregation. What say you, television?

And all of those drug addicts downtown with signs that say that they just need money for a bus ticket back to Iowa but really want to buy heroin! And that vaguely fried smell that engulfs the Thompson Center. Chicago! My kind of town!

@Beat Girl (formerly Miss Carrie Nation): The Cosby Show and Different Strokes are on the NY map. Roseanne is sort of between Missouri/IL. I don't see Bewitched either.

I kept reading this as "Dan's Meth Sitcom map."

I was all, Meth sitcom? If there is anything the Missouri public transit system has taught me, it is that there are serious limits to the hilarity of meth.
