    Is anyone else confused by this:

    Police say a Google search of Markoff's phone number brought up an old Craigslist post advertising "Ebony Erotic Masseuse." The ad said "taking my last appointment" and told customers to call Markoff's number.

    ?


    Was it simply someone who had his phone # before he did?

    Was someone getting out of the business after a scary incident with him and wanted the world to know?

    Was he pimping someone?

    Was it a shockingly sick, ha ha you'll never catch me even if I give you my phone number, posting he made himself before killing another woman?

    Am I missing something obvious and just need more coffee?

    Wait a second, how did they go from "..may have been partly financed" to "HE STOLE BECAUSE SHE LIKED EXPENSIVE STUFF."


    Just because he happened to use SOME of that money to buy his fiancee things (duh, isn't this what couples sometimes do?), it doesn't mean that this was the primary reason why he stole.
