    For anyone in or around Boston: there's a version of this print showing at the MFA right now in which Rivera drew another figure on the other side then backlit the page, creating a male/ female combo. Hard to explain but worth seeing! #nudewithbeads

    @loho77: You're exactly right, I couldn't put my finger on it but it makes her so otherworldly, almost like a depiction of a Hindu deity. I was so fascinated when I saw it that I must have blocked everyone else's view for ten minutes, each side.

    @HootieHoo: It is a great collection. And the new wings have been a huge improvement, which I wasn't expecting.

    The Japanese print collection is tops- I swear they have a new show up every three months, all culled from the permanent collection, and I don't think I've seen a repeat in ten years. #nudewithbeads

    "The group of Kahlo scholars claim that the handwriting is not Kahlo's, the context is all off, and her signature is wrong."

    Also, they were written in Sharpie (which was not invented until after the artists' death) on Hello Kitty! stationery.

    "Because of my new eyesight I now notice every speck of dust and dirt and immediately want to clean it up... There is a reason why men don't clean normally and I think it's because we just don't see the dirt. But since the transplant I now see it wherever I go."To be fair, that happened to me once, after I got new contact lenses. I suddenly saw all this dirt in my apartment and so I went into a cleaning rampage. Then I scrubbed my face to take off a few dirt stains I saw on my forehead, until my ex asked why the hell was I trying to get rid of my freckles that way. Then I laughed. Then I drank some wine. Then I took off the contacts. Now I only put them on occasionally.

    @dummyfakeroller: "Prevents the life of a human being"? Sure. That's just logical. "Terminates the life of a human being"? Well, that depends on whether you consider a fetus a "human being", which is what makes this ruling dangerous and significant.

    Anyone else here a serial sneezer? I can't sneeze just once; the minimum is twice, usually around three-four times on the average.

    My family is used to this and now waits until at least sneeze #3 to issue a "bless you."

    @wtfox?!: My mother always sneezes three times in a row. That's her "one sneeze". Three sneezes in quick succession. I can't sneeze just once either, but in my case is just two.
