Is there any way to get a Kanye translator? What was he trying to say there? I spend a majority of my time with people who have a very loose grasp of English and I understand them perfectly compared to this twat.
re: the Lipstick Jungle theft - Is this like the Bernie Madoff scandal in that the coppers will be tracking down beneficiaries of the theft, including Ebay buyers, to get back the stolen goods? Because you'll pry my new $323 zebra-print Manolos from my cold, dead fingers.
Kanye continued, "I should have been the president - I should have won that award, President Yes We Kanye. Taco Bunny Diamonds I am the universe. Me me me me me."
To judge by the crazy lines at the Fifth Avenue store, you would never know that Abercrombie & Fitch had a bad quarter. I swear, I always cross the street on the opposite side because of the gawkers who line up around the corner.
@sarah.of.a.lesser.god (now with more ovumlord!): yes. why does a teen fashion store need a velvet rope? PLEASE someone explain it to me. the fifteen year olds who shop there are just gonna put the $40 t-shirts through the summer camp wash anyway...
@sarah.of.a.lesser.god (now with more ovumlord!): I walk by one on my way downtown almost everyday, and I swear to god they pump their cologne into the air supply. I choke when I walk down the street. Ours in empty though, possibly because everyone who walks in get a migraine.
I don't understand why being an "aspirational brand" is mutually exclusive with discounting prices in the middle of an unprecedented economic crisis. Do they think people are less likely to buy things if they cost less? WTF?
and furthermore, WHY is Abercrombie & Fitch styling itself as "aspirational"? Do people seriously "aspire" to dress like that?
@linda.flinda: Yeah, ditto. When I read that, all I could think is what do these people aspire to be, a douchey fratboy? A young female with no hips who frolics in the wilderness? Possibly someone who applies too much cologne on a consistent basis?
