and as for the flag business, i think it's just another example of her laziness and inattention towards her image. sarah palin still hasn't figured out how to deal with the scrutiny she faces gracefully.

I'd think it was wrong if she were stepping on the flag or dragging it on the floor, but leaning up against it? I just can't care. And I think people who do care, whether it's a Dem or a Republican, are probably just making shit up as a show of partisan "outrage".

With that said, I'm not so sure about the 'fake-ass rabblerousing' thing, though...there were quite a few Republicans who seemed genuinely concerned that Obama didn't wear a flag pin, didn't salute the flag (which was untrue), and didn't have the flag on his plane (which was untrue).

Honestly I'm just disgusted with their hypocrisy at this point. If Sarah Palin wants us to believe she's "true American" then she better fucking be respecting the decorum of the flag.
