    First of all, I totally forgot that Neil Patrick Harris was hosting tonight's SNL and I'm at my boy's place and he doesn't have cable. Not happy.


    Speed 3? Would Keanu be returning? I'm not sure how I feel about this, considering the movie that was Speed 2, I did not enjoy.


    And I can relate to Drew B.'s thoughts on dating. There isn't dating, it is "hanging out", and everything can go way too fast. My dad and I actually had this discussion the other day, and he told stories about when he was younger, things a certain way...etc. Then he complained about my younger sister's choice of guys. It was humorous.

    @BoredButNoLongerInNH: I have absolutely no understanding of what this generations idea is of dating anymore. Why do kids not enjoy going on dates? My sons former girlfriend just broke up with him as she claimed that she didn't like him trying to make plans for her. He has asked her for the days she had off for the following two weeks as he was wanting to try and take her out to dinner and a movie. Also he asked her to try and get Valentine's Day off as he wanted to surprise her with a day at the spa and then dinner and a show.

    Can anyone explain to me why that would be offensive? Hell I thought it was charming but then I am his mother. I know several of his friends and his sisters liked the idea but am confused.

    I don't know if it's progress or regression that Russell Crowe is being treated as every other Hollywwod actress.


    Fact is: I have never ever liked him, or have seen the appeal in him. He sounds assholey.

    Except Miss Congeniality 2, there was no need for that. but Preominition? The Lake House? I was all over that.

    @TheGuvnah: I have an unexplainable love for Sandra Bullock. And an unexplainable love for Keanu Reeves, so The Lake House -- I don't even have words for that.

    Hope Floats! Even Practical Magic! And she has a very good taste in leading men (Harry Connick Jr! Aidan Quin!!)

    And the idea of While You Were Sleeping 2 is bloody brilliant! It's one of my fave X-mas movies of all time.

    I'm going to shut up now. I'm running out of exclamation points.

    Russell never lost the weight he put on for 'Body of Evidence' - and so the love scenes between him and Sienna would have been laughable. He's so old and fat and she's so young and gorgeous. It's just . . . gross.


    This angers me. A lot. My ex was a bigger guy, and had quite a guy. He was 12 years my senior. I am 5'5 and weigh about 115 pounds. I NEVER thought he was anything but sexy. If the character is likable enough, the audience should like the character and not give a shit about what he looks like without his shirt on.


    "Gross?" No. That comment was gross.

    There is some ironic truth behind what Sienna is saying. I mean, the way Hollywood works, women are usually expected to have perfect bodies and the men can be schlubs. It's kinda comforting to hear that a studio put the same body standards on a guy as they would a woman. The fact that *she* was fired for Russell's out-of-shape-ness kinda negates that, tho'.

    LL, it's great that you're able to see that your actions have CONSEQUENCES, but seriously...showing up perpetually late and with an entourage while filming guest spots on Ugly Betty? Not wearing any underwear in any costumes? This is all when you were sober, so I don't think that behavior did you any favors either. If you want to keep working, start acting like a fucking professional.
