Model Amber Rose has her own photo spread in the October issue of Elle magazine, but unlike some of the other celebrity types inside, Kanye's ladyfriend didn't exactly get the "high fashion" treatment.

In today's Times, Stephanie Clifford notes that the average More reader makes about $93,000 — $30,000 more than the average for Vogue, Allure or Bazaar. Yet More has hardly any luxury ads. Because More's for women over 40.

• Gwyneth Paltrow's clothing line with Zoetees is hitting stores this month. The collection includes tee shirts, studded tank tops, and a grey oversized blazer — fine basics, but there's no indication why the line should start at £100. [Elle UK]

For the new economy, editors and luxury advertisers have been throwing around terms like "value," "quality," "green," "key pieces" and "timeless" as though they had some, well, timeless meaning.

• The Gossip played an hour-long set at the Paris Fendi party. Beth Ditto stripped off the five-piece stage costume Lagerfeld made her until she was performing in a sequined bra and thong. [Telegraph]
