    Last year, I planned to wear a cute dress to the office holiday party. I got about a foot out of the house before I realized that it was below freezing out and went back inside and changed into pants. Just looking at those FP dresses is enough to give me frostbite. #freepeople

    Fun at home- $20 bucks and access to a halfway decent bead or craft store and you too could turn out a necklace just as pretty. I'll bet if you checked out the local or artisan jewelers (find out who deals for the sci-fi or theatre crowd) you could get a ring very similar to that dream. Probably $50 to $100, depending on how intricate the setting. #freepeople

    Only skinny white people can dress like this. If you are thick or black or brown, you will look like a homeless vagrant. It's just a theory.

    You can also dress like this if you are skinny and black or brown, but you have to have a very expensive (aspirational!) haircut to go with it. #freepeople

    I totally agree with your analysis of all of these fug clothes. The other problem with them is that they are NOT WARM CLOTHES FOR WINTER! Apparently these worldly, thoughtful trust fund kids also have super-high internal heating systems.

    I need, like, layers of Old Navy performance fleece to stay mildly warm. Luckily those are cheap. #freepeople
