I hate both iterations of the white shirt/black skirt outfit. Also, did Alexa Chung recently go camping with no bug repellent? Or does she share my habit of bumping into things while drunk and then waking up with shins covered in bruises?
I effing LOVE Padma's dress. It's a few years old, and ever since I saw it in Glamour I've been searching for it cheap on ebay, but...it's still thousands of dollars, and I would look ridiculous in a long dress. Nevertheless! The search will continue!
I find it ironic that this event is sponsored by Hugo Boss. Since they designed/produced certain aspects of the Nazi uniform and may have had prisoners of war as workers.
@Ms Meghan: I wonder if they are actively trying to battle that history? Interestingly, the majority of their stock is now owned by an Italian company.
@Lymed: It's interesting to consider. But I doubt that sponsoring an event for a Quentin Tarantino movie really does anything, but I'm a bit biased since I can't stand Q.T.
And I don't like the fact that Fabiola Beracasa's dress has one long sleeve. I think that's a ridiculous look and it makes me want to attack that dress with scissors to make it right.
The worst part of Agyness' shirt is that it's brand spankin' new. Looks like she picked it up at Hot Topic 20 minutes beforehand. or some such. I would have figured her to have a vintage one from 20 years ago, no?
@hortense: Yeah, but if it was from 20 years ago it would have been one of those big tees, not a little fitted one. Nearly all of my concert tees from that vintage are of dress-length proportions.
@hortense: LALALALALALA, did you say something? Because if it has anything to do with a no pants trend, I have been hiding from that trend for years and refuse to admit its existence.
@frugal: It kept making me think that whoever was in the picture with it was like "Wait, let me set down my totebag filled with library books. Ok, take the picture!."

The costumes in the movie are so so so much better than the ridiculous garments most of these people are draped in.

I've been saying "clambake" for years now, but I think you've inspired me to make a change, Sadie.
