    @Maggita: He gave a lecture/interview, and he was just so smugly patronising and self-absorbed about everything. I rolled my eyes so much that I got dizzy. He also shook my hand and was really smarmy and leaned in really close to introduce himself, it was just - yuck.

    Impressions:

    Kate Moss looks even more stunning and gorgeous with a big ol' smile. Leave the pout at home, girl.

    Ben Grimes double-purse: I can see how this would come in handy. Maybe one purse is for a camera, and the other purse is for gum, lipstick and tissues.

    I love Claudia Schiffer's dress and would definitely wear it. Perfect party frock, methinks.

    @Mary McCarthyite: I think Claudia Schiffer has the most wearable dress. Posh rocks the hardest. Kate looked awful - Not her smile, but her makeup and clothing.

    A few thoughts: Jerry Hall can wear whatever she likes because she has presence and she's gorgeous. Ditto for Victoria Beckham, who I admire for being consistantly interesting and taking risks.

    Kate Moss's makeup and ensemble is incredibly fug.

    I want Natalia Vodianova's body.

    Rosamund Pike's outfit is amazing; I really love it.

    Daisy Lowe's dress: Unbelievably unflattering.

    @Tchotchke: I think I agree with almost everything you've said here. I'm a little "eh" about Victoria Beckham's fashion choices, but I can't deny that when she decides on a look, she works it, and often rocks it. Kate looks wonderful with a smile. I do wish that her clothing and hair and make up choices had played up her beauty though, instead of trying to make her appear ahead of the curve fashion wise. Sometimes, being "behind the times" or not dressing as a trend setter is ok too! Daisy Lowe's dress is unfortunate, because she has amazing skin and had there been less cut out panels or a better fit, it could have worked out beautifully. I'm not a big fan of the cut out dress on anyone though.

    @5ft of fury: I don't necessarily like everything Beckham wears, but she takes a lot of risks and usually pulls them off. It's a nice contrast between her presence on a red carpet and any other starlet who wears some safe mini dress or "Old Hollywood Glam" gown that a stylist picked out. Sometimes I actually like the bad stuff better!
