And mothers of pregnant teenaged daughters everywhere sigh a giant sigh of relief for Mama Palin, Grad Palin, and themselves for having a "she did it, so can you" to point to. Get that high school diploma, girls, whatever the obstacles and odds against you might be. It affects the rest of your life in ways you never realize.

@NefariousNewt: DO EET! The world needs more good history teachers. It's astounding how many of them think history is a litany of facts and dates, rather than a whole bunch of really cool stories. ALL of the really cool stories, in fact. That ever were.

@thePrototype: I'm really happy with the amount of financial aid I'm getting, even though we're married. He makes a fair amount of money, but we've gotten enough in student loans to cover all of my books, tuition, and student health insurance at UW.

@pinkyBella: You'd be surprised. You may qualify for loans instead of grants, and you may only qualify for a certain amount of subsidized loans, but someone will always be willing to do unsubsidized loans as well. Talk to the financial aid officer at the school you're considering, as well as your bank/credit union.
