    I had a dream about Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. They were carrying their baby and were being harrassed on the red carpet, so they passed him off to an assistant, who let me take him.

    I went for a walk in the countryside, essentially stealing their baby, and then brought him back later. The didn't seem that worried about it, but were happy enough when I brought him back.

    If you follow the TMZ link for Miss. Dead-Behind-The-Eyes Prejean's Playboy "scandal", someone posted a link to e-mails between her and one of the pageant people - from FOX NEWS, no less! They totally sold her out, it's brilliant. She comes across as a stuck up, raging, self-important bitch. I would like her to go away now.


    Blind item is most likely Chris Pine, though why someone smoking weed is somehow even newsworthy in this day and age is a mystery to me.

    I have always thought Sophie Dahl was cute. She seems to be incredibly well-rounded and still maintains a sense of humor despite having a totally privileged upbringing.


    I think I just love her because she's Roald Dahl's granddaughter and I LOVE Roald Dahl unabashedly. I have his entire collection...*sigh* I still read them all over every year.

    @onydchic: I heard it was "I'm a Celebrity! Get Me Out of Here!" And apparently, they were just offers that came into the Miss California office that they let Carrie know about. There was no pressure from the orginization to do it any of it.

    Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say.

    @rednrowdy: I was just thinking how I'd be pissed off if that were me. Then I remembered that I'm 5' 3" and the chances of me ever dating a man 7 inches shorter than me are slim to none. Still, annoying for them, I would imagine. I love that she continues to wear heels and that both her and Jamie really don't seem to give a crap.

    @BiteMeMitchell!: I'm 5'11" and much of my dating life has been with partners shorter than I am. If I had a nickel for every time someone squealed "BUT HE'S SHORTER THAN YOUUU!" I'd have enough nickels to...I dunno, put them all in a gym sock and start swinging?


    Height doesn't matter none when you're horizontal, I always say.

    @rednrowdy: Yup, I'm a tall woman, and a lot of shorter guys have such a complex about it, that it's a turn off (their attitude and demeanor, not the height itself). The ones I've known who are really confident and either make jokes about it or just don't even seem to notice it are the ones who are attractive. Unfortunately, they seem to be the minority.

    On Rihanna having to testify ... perhaps those of you more in the know can weigh in on whether this is standard practice? My understanding was that it's increasingly common for jurisdictions to arrest suspected abusers, whether or not the victim is willing to press charges at the time, but I'm curious whether it's common to force someone to testify against his or her abuser.
