    FWIW, American Apparel's bread and butter is actually in the promo world where they print up promotional T-shirts for clients, so I assumed that AA simply produced generic Sesame Street shirts. I work for a magazine that had promo shirts made by AA (ironically enough, the late Clamor magazine had AA print up promo shirts after running a damming expose of the company a few years ago). #sesamestreetamericanapparel

    @berlitzfrench: I find things like this so disturbing, the taking childhood characters and making them sexually suggestive.. It just seems like once again, females are being simultaneously infantilized and sexualized. #sesamestreetamericanapparel

    Why I can't say that I am surprised that American Apparel would lie through its teeth, I'm not sure how they thought that they would get away with it. Did they really think that they could send out a completely fictional press release and Sesame Street wouldn't find out? I guess it further proves my theory that there is a dearth of intelligence at AA headquarters. #sesamestreetamericanapparel

    im waiting for the photoshops of the inappropriate AA ads featuring Sesame Street characters.

    That being said, Big Bird is way too fat to be an AA model. Her legs are like fucking tree trunks; didn't Dov see those monstrosities before putting her on a goddamn t-shirt? That 6-year old needs to lose like...20 pounds. NOW.
