As I did with the nested comments, I can get used to this. Change can be a good thing...especially when the Gestapo--um, I mean my supervisors--have decided to crack the whip on my internet usage. Scrolling through at the end of the day is good for me. SIGH.

I like the expanded version because I like excessive detail and giant huge diatribes and gigantic large lumps of text. Nothing can keep me away from a mammoth screed of colossal proportions. I expand my horizons, I expand my knowledge base, I'm currently experiencing the late-20's hip spread that some ladies are blessed and/or cursed with, I expend and expand and I am Legion and I am large and I contain multitudes. No block of text is too large for me. No unbroken paragraph daunts me. I'm larger than life--I'm actual size, but I seem much bigger. Chances are good that my shoe size is bigger than yours. Chances are also pretty good that eyesight is worse than yours. Chances are good that my city is more populous, though this is a double-edged sword, because it's nice to be able to find all kinds of interesting cuisines and amusements and shopping day or night, but then you have to deal with other peoples' armpit smells. Or flat-tiring the back of your shoe, which is US womens' size 12 or 13. I like the expanded view because monolithic things of immense proportions are somehow interesting to me in their gargantuan way. Like a pot of stew that's too big to refrigerate so you parcel it out into little Tupperwares and freeze it, or a magnum of really cheap champagne, or an amazingly huge store that's full of your favorite hobbies and pastimes, or a sandwich that's so big that you have to share it with a friend--I am irrepressibly, helplessly, defenselessly drawn by things that are monumental and mighty in proportion. I am Tscheezamandius, queen of tscheese queens. Look upon my rambling works, ye sensible commenters, and despair.

So, uh, I like the expanded view.

I, for one, like the new look but what I still don't get is the little image for page views... I keep thinking a little eye would be better maybe but then I'd prob be freaked out with all these baby eyes staring at me. What about a wee little hammer? Or a boxing glove..? Or a shot glass??
