I would like for Tom Cruise to go on Jonathan Ross. Ross would tear him to bits and make lots of fun of him. Therefore I doubt he will be going on his show anytime soon.
Casey Wilson would make a wonderful Suri Cruise: they just have to get her a pageboy wig, someone short to play her father and someone tall for her mom.
Sadly, The National Enquirer has a pretty good track record with shit like this. Just ask Patrick Swayze. He may not be dying in 6 months but his illness is probably worse than we know. And as someone who was a devoted MJ fan as a child, standing by him even when his friends switched to Prince, I have to say...I could give a shit. Hurting children is unforgivable.
@Macloserboy: I read an interview with him this morning in which he said it would be unreasonable to expect 5 more years, and he's looking more at 2 years :( I'm not sure if he meant 2 years from his diagnosis last year, or 2 years from today.
I will give Jason and Lisa a pass on their long-ass baby name, because I am assuming, based on the name, that Jason is Maori (can anyone confirm?). I am not sure that I can give them a pass on hyphenating the first name with the word wolf.
Also, I believe that the Bonet-Momoa offspring will be, if he is not already, the most beautiful creature in the entire world.
Blind item #2: I don't know who it is, but I don't think the offer of an all expenses paid trip to the most polluted city in the world is really "tempting".
@Capital City Goofball: I went to Mexico City last year for work, and it was pretty awesome (and the air was not difficult to breathe at all, to my pleasant surprise). Great museums, mild weather, nice people, good food, fun nights out at the bars, a fantastic show by the Ballet Folklórico. I would love to go back again for a holiday, especially all expenses paid. I wouldn't pimp myself out to a media mogul for it though.
I'd be strangely relieved if Michael Jackson died. I don't know why. I was a fan when I was a kid, but stopped caring a long time ago. He just seems to be in such enormous physical and mental pain, and has been for so long, and it's been hard to see him increasingly strange and desperate. If it is the end for him, I hope his demons are finally to rest.
I wonder if there will be "Jackson ALIVE on desert island!" stories in the rags for years to come, though. Seems plausible.
@TheFormerJuneBronson: I commented about this on another comment, but I totally agree. His entire life has just been sad. I think that he totally longs for the childhood that he never had. And I know that everyone has to take responsibility for their actions and grow up at some point. However, I don't think that he ever did anything illegal, just maybe innappropriate...
why in the world is that woman asking TI for more than $72,000 a year in child support? surely she knows that entire families survive on less. it only takes 28,000 a year to support a kid and i think that includes supporting at least one parent as well.
@linnyt: Her argument seems to be that it's so there won't be such a noticeable difference between the standard of living they experience at her house, and what they experience at TI's crib (which is a big one, dontcha know). I think it may also be so that they don't feel such a difference between the standard of living they have and what his other kids (who live with him) have. I see her point, sort of, but I generally agree with you about these sorts of claims for massive amounts of child support -- it seems exorbitant and unnecessary to me.
@titilayo: I don't think reducing the disparity between standards of living is the point of child support. If TI wants to do that, that's up to him as long as he meets the requirements set up by the court. A kid can have a pretty decent life on 72K. I could have a great life on 50K but that isn't happening right now.
@water baby: is anyone actually watching the remake though? I mean I tried (and I have a good teen schlock threshold) but christ the new cast is bad and bland.
@BeAgrestic: Yeah, I know, but she sucks at acting. And I can't stand people who get stuff cuz their daddy gave it to them.
@emilyanne: I'm still suffering through it in the hopes it might get SLIGHTLY good. But the main girl can't act & even the sex isn't hot, so yeah, might be giving up soon.

I was pretty amused to see Mexican hipsters at a bar I went to. Newsflash hipsters: you're not original if your "look" is emulated all over the world!
