    @Fridge Hussy : Is finally heading back to uni!: I, personally, have never heard anyone speak in favor of such an idea. I'm not sure whether this is because the biggest push is for Arnold and I know mostly Dems and further to the left, or whether it's because we have bigger fish to fry. Personally, it seems like a silly law. Requiring some period of citizenship seems reasonable in order to show someone's seriousness in being a part of the American process, but accidents of birth seem a really stupid way to make any important decision.

    @Laulau: yeah, the law was originally there because the framers were afraid a Brit could move to the newly formed USA, run for president, and then turn them back into colonies. I'm pretty sure we've moved past that fear and therefore can do away with that requirement.

    Look, I had a brief period in my life where I was really into the old full-sized Jeeps. The phase has passed, but I still chat with the internet pals I made on the message boards. Most of them are quite vociferously Red Staters and say some obnoxious, nutty, inflammatory shit.



    But NONE of those crazy sumbitches would try something like this. None. They're Red...not stupid.
