My boston terrier loves wearing her coat or her bat wings. It means we're about to play, or go outside, and the items she wears don't make her uncomfortable at all. When she sees that I have her coat, she runs up and presents herself to be dressed. She's amazing.
@aureliajones: My boyfriend's french bulldog is the same way. He LOVES dressing up. You pull out one of his outfits and he runs to your side and sits patiently while you dress him. It is adorable and weird, all at the same time.
Oh, for the love of... Just get dolls if you want to play dress up! Dogs should be running around outside, digging, chewing on sticks, playing with each other. Ppl who think animals are toys instead of living things are pretty high on my Enemies List.
I am hooked on dog shows. Perhaps it's because I am not allowed to have a pooch in the apartment. I do feel badly for them getting poked and judged on their looks. I am dying for some sort of doggie mishap one of these days. He went after her like she was made of ham!
@OldEnough2BYourMama: Use and autofocus camera. Pick a place to pose her so that you have natural light. Frame the area where you are posing her, but do not put the camera up to your face to take the pic. I guarantee it works. When you have a camera in front of your face a lot of dogs get freaked out. She is turning her head to "submit" to you because she thinks the thing in front of her face is "yelling" at her.

I love nothing more than a themed event and sparkly red shoes. Simple pleasures...
