    I've loved Bette Midler ever since my mom and I watched "For the boys" together and she dragged me to the CD store and started singing "In my life" because she loved it so much and wanted to have it on CD but didn't know where to find it, and the guy at the store didn't know what hit him and I was mortified but in the end we went home with "Experience the Divine" and Ms Midler never left me since.

    I just watched The Rose on Netflix Watch Instantly the other evening (it was one of those days) and damn! I loved her then (at the age of 8) and love her now.....Bette that is - Meredith I could take or leave

    She's quite short, and her weight may have gone up and down over the years, but she once said that because she was so busty it made her appear heavier than she was, and people are always surprised when they see how tiny she is. However, I think she may just be lighter than I've ever seen her.


    Whatever, she's fantastic at any weight. Love her!
