@bluesbelle: The new short hair is actually nice on him. I would let him drive my kid in the carpool.

When I saw the preview on the Jezebel homepage, I thought this was Marcia Cross! Imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be Ashlee Simpson. That red hair is deceptive. #ashleesimpsonwentz
I'm confused at Bear's choice or words or ClickOrlando's selection for a soundbite. Bear is the prosecutor, he obviously has to advocate that it DOES matter that she was grabbed otherwise where is the case? He clearly says "It's not just a mouse. It's a person" after the first part but the beginning is very misleading. Perhaps it was grabbed from his closing where he paraphrased something the defense said.
I worked at Disney, though not as a character. I just worked a cash register. I got people trying to touch (though thankfully not grope) me all the time, and they would also ask me if I was a real person. They really don't know.
Yes, I would tell them, it is more cost-effective for Disney to create an automaton that can count back your change than to hire a college student at just over $5 an hour.
@iKniter: Well, on the good side, that was above minimum wage at the time. I actually really enjoyed the job--my coworkers were awesome--and probably would have stayed on and moved up there if I hadn't had a college degree to finish back in my then-home-state.
I have a friend who was Donald Duck. I think she lucked out b/c she was playing a male character she wasn't subjected to the same kind of treatment. Makes me wonder what happens if a guy is in a female character costume. In fact, maybe that should be this guy's punishment.
In my theme park days, I've seen an awful lot of costume-humping by dumb teenagers to get laughs out of their friends. For some reason, this seems worse though, but I can't quite put my finger on why. Is it because of the age of the man? The act of groping is more violating than fake-humping?
I'm leaning toward the latter, I think. Any thoughts?
"It doesn't matter she was grabbed. She's just a mouse," said prosecutor David Bear.
In other news, 32 year old VirginiaDentata was found guilty of Felony Bonerkilling and Feminazi Assault on a prosecutor. "It doesn't matter he was made into a lovely rug for my hunting lodge, " she spoke from prison. "After all, he was just a Bear."
@VirginiaDentata:
it's an awkward quote, but I think he was paraphrasing and arguing against the defense. He goes on to say "It's not just a mouse. It's a person".

I don't think he understands how costumes work.
