Tyra had to get up and talk to her producers to ask what to say, because she couldn't think for herself. That would have been nice to show on camera.
On the "art" of porn filmmaking:
It's so easy for people to fall into the routine of shooting something because it sells. I don't mean that in a sexual context. I mean that, you know, these five positions are going to be shot and we're going to use four Kinos and put you on a couch. Kino lights can be really nice. But that's why half the time porn doesn't look so nice. They blast everything out. It comes down to commitment and time, and a lot of people lack that creativity.

What are some examples of misogyny you have seen in Tarantino's work or heard about in his personal life? I was trying to explain to my boyfriend why he *seems* like a misogynist, to me, but I couldn't come up with anything other than that he includes characters and situations in his films that are overtly, violently, misogynist and that he has awful friends.

I'm glad you have positive news to share about QT. I still kind of wish we could work harder to change some of the shit that sucks about our society by changing the way we present certain subjects in the media. I feel like QT's work is hurting this goal much more than it's helping.
What city were you in where all these people were approaching him? I certainly don't live on either of the coasts, but I can't imagine ever feeling like it would be appropriate to approach a celebrity just out living their life. I guess people must think a quick compliment won't bother anyone, but they apparently have no clue how many people are thinking the exact same thing.
