    I dunno...I would say, you're as likely to get attached as not, so be careful with yourself, and perhaps try to wait for emotional commitment (not marriage or anything, whatever), if you sense that might be your bag!


    Though I lost mine in a one-off at 22 to an extremely gorgeous young Irishman who was about to leave the country, and since I was deep down very much depressed and in love with someone else at the time, that actually worked out quite without negatives.


    It was the next guy who was a big old Fuck-Up. :)

    Angle is everything. You can be taught how to do this or that, but figuring out that god damned angle is difficult! It's like landing the space shuttle. Too steep and you bounce right off. Too shallow and you burn up in the atmosphere.

    Well, my first time I was 17, felt like I should "get it over with", and was very drunk. It wasn't pleasurable at all (it wasn't painful either). The guy started stalking me afterwards - I had thought it was a casual thing, and I thought I made that clear to him, but he wouldn't leave me alone. I also had a pregnancy scare, despite using a condom. It was pretty awful. On the other hand, it was definitely a learning experience, and in a way I'm glad I didn't stay a virgin and build sex up to be something it wasn't, even though I do wish I'd had a better time.
