    For the last time: it is NOT "your" inheritance until the person actually dies and legally leaves it to you. In fact, the only thing tackier than cheating and impregnating (or being impregnated by) someone who is not your spouse is being the kids of that person and acting like his/her property is YOURS-YOURS-YOURS RIGHT NOW.


    If my kids ever did this, I'd leave the whole damn estate to charity.

    Isn't this story commonly used to scare younger women into settling down before they dry up and can't have children? Ugh, why is Lance being an ass, this should be kept private. I'm not sure what he's trying to gain by painting Sheryl Crow as a desperate.

    @Buffalo_Gal: I've heard that he's a dick but I don't think his statement is that dickish. He said if the woman wants a child, not any woman on the planet. And I think that's true too for guys I know who really want to be dad's. That is true for some women which is what he said.


    @CareerUnderachiever: is it better to marry someone knowing they want a family and then bailing? Maybe he thought he was on board and realized he wasn't and called off the wedding. I can't believe we're slamming him for recognizing he couldn't commit and backing out.

    Dear Rachel: Some people will never learn. My last name is ONE SYLLABLE and people still pronounce it incorrectly sometimes, because they think that one letter is silent. I've had teachers who literally could not pronounce it correctly, even after having me in the class for an entire school year (or in one instance, THREE years).


    Anymore, I just tell myself that I don't care how people pronounce my name (my first name is also strangely pronounced, but I blame my parents for that one), so long as they're calling me by name and not 'Hey you' or whatever, I'm happy.
