@bluebears: Oh dear lord, I lost my shit when she bolted out of the store with stolen shoes and then completely ate it.
@anthropos: There is a barista at my local coffee shop who looks identical to Sweet Dee, and she has definitely heard me referring to her as such. She makes me the most excellent cappuccinos, however, and I take this as a sign that she likes the nickname.
I saw a preview last night where Charlie tries to sell his new invention - Kitten Mittens. Basically, Kitten Mittens are socks for cats. I couldn't stop laughing. Whenever my cat claws something now (like me) I threaten to buy him a set.
@Sev: That commercial was almost directly responsible for killing me. I was running on the treadmill and when it came on I started laughing so hard I fell down and ended up clinging to the railing with one arm until I could hit the stop button.
I have uncovered a conspiracy theory behind Thursday tv though. Having my 3 favorite shows all on in a row (Office, 30 Rock, and Sunny) could lead to an implosion of humor on my night. Each one is funnier than the last so that by the end of the night my standards for comedy are so high nothing can satisfy me! It's terrible. Wine helps though.
That being said, the first 5 min of 30 Rock was the first time this season i saw some of the classic liz-has-no-idea-how-to-act-properly-outs... moments that i love so much. "Also, don't overthink it. Sara Lee. Frozen. AMAZING" I can't wait for next week when there aren't any special guest's ego's to overtake the show.
The one ep that gave me pause was the gang broke the liberty bell one. I was a little nervous about it sucking, but they pulled it off. Totally not my favorite, but I loved it anyway.
I watched the first season of this show, and I expected to like it...but instead it just made me sad. I like all the other shows that It's Always Sunny fans enjoy, but I just did not enjoy watching these guys (and gal) being horrible to each other and everyone else ALL THE TIME.
@Kivrin: Yeah, if you have a high tolerance for the kind of humor that runs rampant in "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm," then this works for you. I can completely understand why it doesn't appeal to others, though. That said, I sort of love the horrible behavior, especially since they primarily inflict it on each other, and that every time they try to benefit from it, it backfires horribly. (Maybe I'm just rationalizing, but I still wind up laughing...)
@rollergirl76, @GuyismyGuy: I realize that's the point of the show -- that's why I didn't like it. I was just wondering if any other people reading the thread might have reacted the same way I did -- love all the other usual suspects, not easily offended...yet strangely turned off by IASIP. But perhaps it's just me!
@Kater Tot: Love Seinfeld and CYE -- that's why I was shocked that I didn't like It's Always Sunny. Sure, I chuckled a few times while watching the DVDs. But I think the last ep I saw broke the camel's back -- it was the one where they're drinking and driving, and they hit that innocent bystander who ends up in the hospital. For some reason that just rubbed me the wrong way. Oh well! At least I gave it a shot.

And, if you go on hulu.com, there is a clip of the guys holding a panel discussion at a ComiCon, and that too is hilarious.
