    I don't trust anyone who's online persona is significantly different than who they are in person. I tend to think people act the way online they would act in real life if they had the balls to, so it's just cowardly when you're "actually a really nice guy in real life!" but a total fucking tool online.

    @exelizabeth: Actually, for the record, I think his blog and his real-life persona are basically the same. I didn't think he was any different in person than I would've expected given his writing except that he had a better sense of humor and seemed to take himself less seriously, but that's hard to convey in writing some times (especially with an editor involved).
