I predict this is just the first of a flood of pictures of celebs visiting India this year. When Heidi and Spencer arrive, we'll know the trend has reached its peak.
Um, is that dude wearing kabbalah yarn? Seems like an incongruent accessory to a wife wearing a bindi but I could just be mixing up my religions/cultural traditions.
@Jamie Sommers: Other religious traditions do a similar thing... The guidance counsellor at my primary school when I was a child was South African Indian, and I remember her saying something about her son having to get special permission from his school to wear Hindu prayer strings with his school uniform?
Plus, it could also be that Julia is wearing the bindi because it was put on her as a welcoming gesture, much in the same way you get leis in Hawai'i? Not every Westerner is out to misappropriate foreign religions and customs, you know.
@Jamie Sommers: Hindu's also tie red string around their wrists. They are called Kalava and are given out by priests during prayer services. It's to ward off evil spirits!
Also I had no idea that Danny Moder looked like an eerie combination of Guy Pearce and my high school boyfriend. I look forward to the weird mishmash of dreams awaiting me tonight!

...middle of speaking/saying something. Perhaps, "omg, how silly of me to wear a scarf in INDIA. This bindi itches."
