I feel horrible for this woman's family. I can't imagine hearing that my sister's body was found as hers was.

While Ryan seems like a creep on MWAM with his pick up artist credo, he's only been named as a person of interest here. He's not even a suspect at this time. While I'm glad VH1 pulled the episodes out of respect, I'm witholding judgment of him until more details come forward.

Now that he's been revealed as the winner of ILM3, I wonder if they'll ever air it. He may not even receive the money for it, since they don't pay until after the show airs.

@Hana Maru: Could they contractually deny him the prize? If he completed the show, unless the contract says that he has to not be arrested or jailed I don't know if they could deny him the money. Perhaps if the contract says he cannot reveal the winner and know that he is a murder suspect the winner is being reported everywhere maybe then he could be denied the money. But it all sounds like a legal nightmare for VH1.

@heywhat: I'm guessing if they don't air the show, the prize may not be given because the channel would not be making money. I've heard of other reality show contracts that say the prize is void if the show doesn't make it to air. I don't know the particulars of this contract, but I doubt it's going to be a problem for VH1

Am I the only one who doesn't think someone with a net worth of $1 million isn't that much of a millionaire? I'm in Manhattan and that kind of dough gets you a nice two bedroom apartment.

@La Pauline: No. I thought that too. That is like, owning a 500k apartment (1 bedroom), a car, and making over 150k a year. I don't really think of people in that situation as "millionaires."

I absolutely loved the first three episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire, and if this means the rest of the season won't be aired, I will be CRUSHED. I am not normally into dating elimination shows or VH1 reality shows, but this one is so freaking hilarious and fascinating.

@LUV_TRUK: That's exactly how it works, and it creates an incredibly interesting power dynamic. The millionaires are truly competing for a prize, in a way that I don't think occurs on similar shows. And Megan is remarkably skilled at controlling and manipulating every situation to her advantage.

@metoometoo: YES! And frankly I find the show refreshing. On other reality shows in which the goal is finding *love* the whole thing is rather ridiculous. Who finds love on reality tv?! No one. Megan knows this, and she also isn't in it for love. She makes it very well known that she wants money and expensive presents. All of which she gets. She gets paid to be on the show, and the guys are forced to give her gifts to stay on the show, the more expensive the better.

@metoometoo: I completely agree about the fascinating part. I was trying to do laundry but I was literally mezmerized throughout the entire episode I saw. Just sat down on the edge of the bed and stayed there.

Another of the contestants -- sex toy dave -- was also a contestant on The Bachelorette. So weird, because he's been on the only two dating shows I've watched, and they were consecutive.

There's also something slightly weird about the production values of the show, but I can't put my finger on it.

I really enjoyed the show because I love to hate Megan. I thought she was hysterical on Beauty and the Geek and I liked her in the Rock of Love 2 and ILM2 and Charm School.

I also find Megan's shamelessness refreshing. She's certainly not the only woman who'd like to be showered with expensive jewelry, or the only woman who aspires to live a life of luxury at the expense of a wealthy and powerful husband. So I don't hate on her for it, and I think it's kind of cool and impressive that she's so unabashed about what she wants. And she's amazingly talented at getting it. Plus, the millionaires are ridiculous...although, I guess I didn't realize quite how ridiculous until now.

@tobesthewonderdog: I know how you feel. It's awful that this had to happen, and I really feel for Jasmine's family and friends, but damn it, I love VH1. After the glory of Plumber Garth's SEX MODE, I only knew the show could get better :(

@lobstr: I actually think it's kind of in good taste that they are pulling it (though I hope they air them later).

So many of these shows are all about exploitation (gosselin kids, anyone) that for a network -- especially one with programming like that of VH1 -- to display any kind of sensitivity is shocking in a good way.

I wouldn't doubt that he was a finalist. In the first couple episodes he was one of the guys she was most interested in. The most recent episode he seemed creepy because he was incapable of having an actual conversation with her and instead talked about how hot they both were.

I do remember in the first or second episode he mentioned/half-joked wanting to marry Megan for citizenship. I suspect that explains why he married Jasmine after 2 days, or whatever they are claiming.

I heard Jenkins also appeared on Flavor of Love in full makeup. He made the top ten. Flav's pet name for him/her oddly enough was Person of Interest.
