Oh, and Joe Jonas' little blog post is proof positive that Disney really enjoys keeping its puppets ill-educated and informed. That shit he wrote? NOT ENGLISH.
Dewey, the library cat that this movie is based on was found in the return box as a kitten at a public library in Iowa, and proceeded to live there for 20+ years. He was actually, pretty awesome, doing stuff like warning the staff that there were bats in the library.
I could give a crap about Joe Jonas or Taylor Swift, but I do like Camila Belle and am disappointed she's hooked up with such a guy who's gone from douche-in-training to full on douche. And he's got the douche excuses down pat for one so young. Did anyone notice it's just a variation on Woody Allen's excuse for boning Soon Yi?
@Macloserboy: Oh stop. You're basing your opinion on him on the words of Taylor Swift and a MySpace blog? Just because he plays a Stepford Disney Popstar on TV doesn't mean he is one in real life.
Camilla is a smart, cool girl...if she is in fact interested in him it should tell you something about the boy and the band that some of us already knew...
I'm not a good musician by any means, but I kind of understand the Beyonce-obsessively-listening to-her-own--performances thing. I do my own tiny, bad, amateur recordings of my own caterwauling, and really sometimes the only way to make it better is to listen to it over and over again until the rough spots and falters and missed notes drive themselves into your brain and you HAVE TO FIX IT OMG.
IT IS NOT EITHER OBSESSIVE BEHAVIOR. It's not. It's NOT! Really!
Don't worry Hugh. As someone else who had a fucked up childhood, I'd be more than happy to comfort you.
Also, maybe it's just me but Beyonce sounds a bit crazy and self-obsessed. Her "YouTube" days sound really weird- like she just locks herself in her bedroom, curls up in front of the computer endlessly watching videos of...herself. Weird.
@Capital City Goofball: I'm not surprised Beyonce would watch video of herself -- you'd think her dance coaches would have her do so. But if she's looking for advice on how to become a better singer, she'd be better reaching out to someone with expertise.
"The brother of the American Idol reject who killed herself outside the star's L.A. home is blaming Abdul for crushing his sister's dreams. "[Abdul] didn't speak up for her. She let everyone take her down," Charles McIntyre says"
@Cocotte: If she was really that unstable, wouldn't it be her family's job to protect her from things like subjecting herself to criticism in a national forum?
@63words: Bingo...though there's only so much you can do. But not blaming third parties should surely not be one of those that you, ultimately do. Mental illness...so so scary, so so uncontrollable. I'm gonna go with "nobody's fault" on the death.
On the exploitation, well, that's obvious...but the percentage of exploited people that off themselves as a result of it is pretty darn low compared to the rate that said people are accumulating on modern television.

(But, um, Team Joe...because Swift's the only one who's been proving to have lied about stuff.)
YES, I have opinions on these things.
