5:30 a.m. A sudden bark of distress! Will Mr Jello find his other shoe before Potato's bladder overflows?
6:00-7:00 a.m. Close-ups of the dog licking its nutless ballsack. NSFW.
7:00 a.m. Potato gets his biggest opportunity yet: a tissue box has fallen to the floor! Will he be able to completely maul its contents before Jello Mix intervenes?
7:01 a.m. Yes.
After the commercial break... Is it illness or is it heartbreak? Potato sleeps for three hours straight!
The video on that Jane Carey link is agonizingly self-indulgent and somehow manages to give no idea of what their music actually sounds like. But she sure has grown up since the last pictures I saw of her!
I watched Jimmy Fallon's show last night, because I am one of the few people in America who has always liked him (and still likes him unabashedly). What? I like men who giggle. Sue me.
The story is that Sigorney Weaver's role as Ripley in "Alien" was originally written for a man, but when she got the part, they changed nothing and ... IT STILL WORKS. It's not like it seemed unrealistic because she wasn't wearing a pink dress the whole time or obsessing over if an alien parasitic embryo in her stomach would make her look fat or if it would ruin her push-up bra when it jumped out of her chest. Because in the situations that most actiony movies revolve around, people would probably pretty much act the same, whether they are male or female.
I think the biggest difference between male and female action stars is how sexuality is used in the script -- I don't think Evelyn Salt is going to be worrying about her weight and PMSing after chocolate like some rom-com airhead. No, we'll get Angelina-as-spy seducing guys in order to get info, whereas Edwin Salt would've, y'know, used his brains.
@greeneyedfem: That is so spot on! Exactly! While there is no reason Angelina as Salt couldn't use her BRAIN, they will not go there. Because, you know, women always have to use their sexuality in order to get things. Headdesk.
Didn't Angelina say for the 10,000th time she was taking time off to be with her kids??? She works non stop, and has had at least one movie every year.
@Little Green Frog: I am 99% sure she hasnt worked since filming Changeling, which would be about a year. Since awards season was just in full swing, it feels like she has been working but she really hasnt.
@tscheese: This. At least with Alias they winked at the camera and told you "Hey, we figured out a way to keep you paying attention. Check outt how good all of our costumes look." Earnest is a bad thing with this.

And, if you have a chance to experience Juliette Lewis in concert - do so! I cried at the wonderfulness.

At least that show was unashamed about being a little campy. I didn't follow it religiously, but I kinda liked it whenever it was on.
I have a feeling that Jolie's attempt is going to be cringe-inducingly earnest.
