Her husband, Andrew Catapano, is on trial for bribing union officials and Con Ed employees to cut costs for his company, AFC. Guyer visited the trial last week and allegedly lunged at the girlfriend, pulled her hair and shouted "Tramp!" Guyer is now being monitored by extra security in the courtroom to avoid further outbursts. [NY Post, Image via Fantastic Fiction]

<![CDATA[Cat Killer]]> Joe "Cat-Killer" Petcka, the baseball player-cum-actor whose recent trial over the murder of his girlfriend's cat resulted in a hung jury last Friday, was on The Today Show this morning with his attorney. Petcka's claim during the trial was that he was defending himself against the cat (whose name was Norman) after the cat started to attack him and Petcka had swatted at the cat too forcefully. Matt Lauer didn't seem to be buying it, noting that Petcka is a "big guy" and then asking Petcka if he did to the cat what he couldn't do to his girlfriend. Petcka denied those claims and his lawyer said that, next time around, they hope they can find New Yorkers who "understand." Click the picture above to watch the clip.

<![CDATA[Foot Fetish]]> Have you seen those cheesetastic and nasty commercials for PedEgg on TV? Apparently an actor-couple (also featured on the Amazing Race) featured in the commercial are super-pissed (and suing PedEgg's manufacturer) at the "cheap, low quality" of the ads and the fact they are being played worldwide on television. (The actors would have never agreed to appear in a commercial with "horror make up" on their feet if they knew they would be grossing out people worldwide.) Listen: if you are an unrecognizable contestant from a reality TV show you are not too good to appear in an infomercial, no matter how cringe-worthy it ends up being. [The Smoking Gun]

<![CDATA[Sports Bra Saves Stranded Hiker • L.A. Strippers Sue Clubs For Tips]]> An American hiker in the Bavarian Alps who was stranded for 3 days was rescued after she attached her sports bra to a cable used by lumberjacks to get their attention. • A new study has found that men are more likely to share their creative work online than women. • Lesbians are barred from donating blood in China because they are semantically lumped in with gay males and therefore thought of as being "high-risk" for HIV. • How long until there is a mass squealing conservative outrage over this JC Penney "teen sex" ad? • Strippers are suing top strip joints in L.A. over unpaid wages and tips and making the strippers pay other workers in the clubs. • Oh, also, high gas prices are hurting legal brothels in Nevada that relied heavily on randy truckers with extra (probably company) cash. Hard times. • The U.N. Security Council unanimously approved a resolution to reclassify rape as a "weapon of war." It's about time. • Female college students in England have been warned about whistling at construction workers near their college. However, no complaints have been made and no women have come forward about the whistling.
