I can't believe we're on page three of the comments and no one has stated this yet:

I AM CORNHOLIO! I NEED T.P. FOR MY BUNGHOLE!

Also, the last time I saw a headband like that it was on Finola Hughes in Stayin' Alive, the least-anticipated sequel in cinematic history.

It would be awesome if they could make a maternity version of these that converted into shirts with built-in Moby-like baby carriers after the birth.

EVERYONE. LISTEN. I HAVE A REVOLUTIONARY NEW IDEA.

I shall call it "le pillowcase." It's an oversize pillowcase with two open ends! I am VISIONARY.

Want a dress? Pull it up over your boobs and put a belt on it!
Want a skirt? Shove it down to your waist!
Want a top? Wear it like a tube top!
Want a hoodie? Wear it on your head!
Need a sweater? Rip two more holes, wear it sideways!
Need pants? Get two, wear colorful underwear!

God, Free People, you really missed out on my brilliance.

In the words of the late, great Little Edie Beale: " This is the best thing to wear for today, you understand. Because I don't like women in skirts and the best thing is to wear pantyhose or some pants under a short skirt, I think. Then you have the pants under the skirt and then you can pull the stockings up over the pants underneath the skirt. And you can always take off the skirt and use it as a cape. So I think this is the best costume for today."

BUT SHE DID EXECUTED THIS SO MUCH BETTER. Free People, nice try, but no dice.

I love how everyone just busts on these shirts because they are "weird" looking. Is it such a crime to look different? I for one don't believe the sole purpose of clothing is to make us look "nice" or compliment or body shapes. Yes, it's good to be comfortable, but I think creativity in clothing is important too.

@Lymed has a Mr. Lymed: I love fashion too and perhaps take it a bit too seriously at times. But for me this isn't about the actual items, but rather how Jez engages its readers to a collective point and howl and that's a little too easy.

@KathrynwithaY loves Joan Collins: YES! I had a little one, so there wasn't a lot of "give" in his little pouch (the big ones had a lot more fabric, so they were easier to roll up.) So I was mystified by my Popple for the longest time, because I couldn't get his "backpack" to unfurl enough to contain the rest of him.

Come to think of it, Popples are pretty awesome.

Didn't Jade, from one of the ANTM cycles, have a shirt remarkably like the second one? I remember her walking off in a weird shirt/hood thing, and thinking it was a pretty odd look, but that made total sense on Jade.
