    So, let me get this straight: The system works, and therefore Sonia Sotomayor is not qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice? Because she did rule against them, but the Supreme Court overturned her decision -- as they have a hundred thousand times in a hundred-thousand other cases. It's not shocking for the Supreme Court to overturn a Lower Court decision.

    Needless to say, I have no idea what was gained from Ricci being there. He won his case -- non-factor.

    Note to Linda Chavez: Standardized Tests, especially the SATs, have pretty well known racial bias problems. Could this have had an effect on the Judge's test scores? Could this be one of the reasons that racial awareness in college admissions is necessary to combat institutionalized racism?

    OMG I want to punch Linda Chavez in the face! She says no one should get a job based on race but wants the committee not to confirm Sotomayor because of the "wise latina" comment and her "identity politics"!!! She repeated over and over for 4 days that she doesn't judge that way and answered all the issues Chavez is talking about *rages suffocates my wits* ARGHHHH!!

This little tidbit of information from the NYT:Ms. Chavez was forced to withdraw from consideration to become Labor secretary during the administration of former President George W. Bush, after disclosures that she had housed an illegal immigrant and sometimes paid her.
