"The wedding you didn't see coming...unless you go to the grocery store or watch any of our other shows or read any celebrity tabloids or the internet in which case you probably already saw all the pictures."
I want to watch this and match up the the taped walkie-talkie script directions with the action on the screen, just so I know what's ad-libbed and what's scripted.
I wish these three would fall off the face of the Earth. What have they done for society save make really bad reality television and even worse sex tapes?
@Maritsa: Oh see that's tricky though. With normal people, I would shoot for a 6-7 months in split because he's "not understanding her needs and he's not a real man" and jazz, and then a reunion at the birth of the child (followed by a split a year and a half later for real)
But this is Kardashian land. Didn't one of the other K-girls realize she was pregnant by surprise a month ago? And now look at her in the wedding pictures? HOW WAS THAT PREGNANCY A SURPRISE - You practically have a five year old in your uterus and the rest of you has not grown? Did she just think she ate too many doritos? Did she magically move from trimester one to three in the course of a week? These are not normal people so I cannot place a bet.
Blah, I watched this show for the first time when it was the episode she went to jail. Seriously, she is gorgeous and seems like she would be fun to hang out with. She was sorry for the DUI and I loved when she told off the jerk papparazzi. She so does not need to lose weight.
Holy crap - if Bruce Jenner was my father and I looked like Khloe, I'd've throttled him. Seriously. I may have yelled at my TV last night while watching. Its not even like she asked his damn opinion! Yay for the little sister, though.
@Beat Girl is screaming into the abyss: Yeah, it seems a little counterproductive. He gave some great ammunition, but people keep firing the wrong gun.
@Beat Girl is screaming into the abyss: Well, you could argue that his looks are the result of terrible elective surgery and probably thousands of dollars worth of injections, and as a result he looks unnatural and freaky. Coming from that point of view, him insulting what here genes gave her is not the same as insulting the disfiguring alterations he has done to his own face. It's like Jocelyn Wildenstein (aka Cat Woman) telling a young woman that she should really consider a nosejob or else she probably wont be considered beautiful.
i'm the 'ugly' sister in my family, and it really sucked growing up (i'm used to it and it hurts less now.) i can't imagine how much more infinitely shitty that would have been if i'd had to do it with people who don't even know me tearing apart my appearance and behavior on a near constant basis.
@argle-bargle? or fou-ferraw?:yea, me too. Khloe and I are kindred. my little brother and little sisters are models (LITERALLY! my sister's 19 - 5'10" size 2- my brother is 15 6,2" basketball scholarship, very athletic) and I'm the oldest and (comparatively) short and a tad overweight (22, 5,6" and I'm not saying what size I wear)...
and no one in my family can stop talking about it - so I feel for Khloe BIG TIME.
I just watched this. I felt really really bad for Khloe when she was reading Perez. I think this show often reminds people that HEY, if you post something mean about a celebrity on the internet, there is a good chance they will read it. Being in the public eye does not cut off your internet privileges nor the habit of googling oneself.
@HanaMaru: Puts me in mind of the oft-uttered Jez truism: If you have to start your comment with "I probably shouldn't say this, but..." then you probably shouldn't freakin' say it! Gawd!
Khloe, dearest, you should ignore any advice about your looks from someone who cannot properly move their facial muscles due to extreme amounts of botox/plastic surgery.
@greengrey: Quick google, since I was curious. Looks like Kourtney graduated from U-Arizona, but didn't see anything on Kim or Khloe.
I've seen a sufficient number of severely eating disordered women on top-twenty college campuses to doubt that education/skills help much. But I certainly think hearing the criticism at home is a serious freaking problem. I also wonder if, in some ways, it's the curse of being pretty - all of the Kardashian sisters are frankly beautiful, and if that is the focus your whole life, I could see how you'd start to see that as your only worth.
@Laulau: @Rosaxe: Of course college doesn't always give a person wonderful body image; but Khloe does seem like she has a brain, going to college (and possibly law school) would probably do a lot for her confidence. If you're in a position where you focus on your brains (as opposed to the one she's in focusing in her looks 100% of the time), you find that there's a lot more worth (especially in the long run) in that.
Women who's bodies/looks are the be all end all of their existence (even if they are stunning) are going to have a tough time aging. And eventually, a tough time getting paid for being pretty.
Pretty = depreciating asset/"skill".
Not to mention, her parents DO have the money for school/grad school; it just seems like a waste. My parents would MURDER me if I wasn't going to school and just taking pretty pictures.
I am too emotionally invested in the Kardashians, lol
@greengrey: I agree completely. And I continue to maintain hat they are not stupid girls. Misguided? Superficial? Un-educated? Yes, yes, yes... But I don't think they are dumb per se, I would venture to guess that they have at least average IQ's. This makes sense to me, since their father had to have been fairly intelligent.
She is gorgeous. This reminds me of the treatment I would get at home growing up. When I look at pictures of myself as a teenager, I wonder what everyone was so upset about. I looked fine.
And why is everyone criticizing her so much worse looking?
@Sssunshowers: But don't feel bad for him! His OWN self-hatred should get to him before other people do, anyway. He sucks at life in a way I cannot even fathom. He hates on women, men, gays (wtf?), EVERYONE! He is a sad, sad excuse for a celebrity.
