    Hey I think his cousin attends my son's school. Yesterday was an all school service day and the kids were allowed to wear grubs (casual clothes). One 6th grader showed up in a tux!

    This is SO TOTALLY my son!! He wore a vest a tie TO PRESCHOOL EVERY DAY because he thought it looked good. Granted, he was wearing these vests and (clip on) ties over jeans and t-shirts, and they didn't match at all, but still! I love it!

    @moodyonceamonth: I am jealous. If I have a son I would be head over heels with him wanting to wear different, fun types of clothing. Plus I like to shop, so if I could spend my money on buying tiny little adorable outfits that he would actually wear that would be AMAZINg! And my friends would get such a kick out of it too...

    I'm impressed that his parents can find him a monocle and a tuxedo. I can't even find jeans to fit my tall, thin 5 year old. Thus, he has become known for flashing his Power Ranger underwear at school. Sigh.

    At least this kid's critics are (mostly) anonymous. When my two teenage cousins tired of my wearing my very cute white cowgirl boots with fringe everyday (I was 5!), they tossed them onto the roof of my Aunt's house.


    My aunt had no ladder.


    And my Dad "mysteriously" forgot to get them down every time we went to her house for about 6 months, until I gave up.

    I was kind of the female version of this growing up. All I ever wanted to wear was hoopskirts, ballgowns, or sexy suits. I was a "fancy girl." This is kind of odd as no one in my family ever had any interst in fashion. Now that I am an adult, I still wish my daily outfit was a big hookskirt and corseted top. Love it.

    @LaFemme: I was pretty active and outdoorsy as a kid, but I went through an intense fancy-dress phase between 8-10. Very Victorian inspired, and my mum and da were all about letting me express myself. We altered a friend of my parents 1967 prom dress, and I wore it almost every day. With crinoline, and hiking boots. I was hilarious I think.
