    Jon Voight says a lot of things that creep me out but this is not one of them. If my dad called me sexy, well... that would clearly be a matter of opinion and seriously skeeve me out. (*bleaches thought from brain*) But Angelina... she's the SEXIEST WOMAN ALIVE! I think it's safe to say most people would at least agree with "kind of sexy." That's just calling a spade a spade.

    OK, this may be a little off, but Perez Hilton strikes me as the PETA of gay rights: thinks any sort of publicity regarding gay people/issues is good, never stops to consider that he's not the greatest rep for the issue, and will sell out and insult anyone he thinks is doing it wrong. Also, is a total hypocrite.

    Saying that Kevin finds London a 'wee' bit dangerous due to knife crime is really belittling what is a massive, and deadly problem in the UK.


    Each year there are 221 'serious' injuries resulting from knife crimes in London alone, overall incidents involving knives total 12,279.


    I have noticed a few different writers on this site mocking UK knife crime and well all I can say is sorry we don't have guns to kill each other with sorrrrrryyyyyyyy.

    I am really questioning the validity of this Perez/will.i.am fight. If you look at his comment numbers (which I believe Jezebel did a while back when he tried to make the comments subscriber only) and they are pretty bleak as compared to a year ago. His popularity is REALLY dwindling. I think this is a manufactured stunt to boost his site numbers. ESPECIALLY because he's trying to launch a secondary site that is more friendly material for ad dollars. He needs to boost his page views in order to pull together impressive stats to present to potential advertisers.


    Besides, I never really remember Perez being too terrible towards any of the Peas. He has never targeted Fergie in the way he has Mylie or J. Love Hewitt. So it doesn't make sense for will.i.am to approach him to stop writing bad things about his band.

    @TriedandTrue: You are a genius. I completely agree. Usually I am far more cynical about any sort of "celeb news" and usually believe that items are staged more often than not. But for some reason I really believed that someone would actually want to beat Perez up but this has all of the ingredients of a fake incident for publicity. Even in the sense that the real stars in this are keeping out of jail . . . hmmmm.

    I just want to point out cause I'm seeing a lot of "Perez got punched it was a hate crime" stories this morning. Just because Perez is gay doesn't necessarily make it a hate crime. Perez is an obvious mad Sh*t talker and Sh*t starter and makes fun of Fergie alll the time on his site. It's a grander scale high-school yard fight: "I heard you were talking smack" vs. "Oh yeah and what are you going to do about it." Let's not blow everything out of proportion here..

    @Rare Affinity: Why do you not support hate crime legislation? I fully support stiffer penalties for crimes driven by racism and prejudice. There is a difference between punching someone who you're angry with, and punching someone because of their skin color/religion/sexual orientation. Intent matters, and often that intent leads to more brutal and dehumanizing crimes.

    I used to read Perez, but I never found is photo-editing style all that amusing and rather than snarky, I found many of his comments just mean.

    @as.you.wish: That's when I stopped going to his site too. His meanness always turned me off (I can handle witty bitchiness, but there was nothing witty about him), but that was the straw that broke the camel's back.
